Software can be accessed free through your university email or matriculation number, you are also entitled to free third-party software packages and discounts as a university student.
Office 365 offers university the complete range of Microsoft desktop applications including; Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint and much more. Simply login via Office and click 'install Apps'.
You can download a wide variety of software for free with your university account. Simply login to the software centre via Software Centre with your university credentials and login. This page offers a wide array of Microsoft and VMWare products.
A degree with Honours will be awarded to a student who has satisfied all programme-specific requirements and gained a minimum of 480 credits of which:
A minimum of 100 credits are at SCQF level 10, of which a minimum of 40 credits are derived from a dissertation or final year project and in addition
A minimum of 80 credits are at SCQF level 9 or above, and in addition
A minimum of 120 credits are at SCQF level 8 or above.

Directly outside the university the 45 is available. Alternatively a brisk walk to Bruntsfield Road and you can grab the following buses: 5, 11, 15, 16, 23 and 36

The Merchiston campus does not offer any on-site parking for students. There is however limited street parking bays available in the surrounding area. A parking map is available through the Edinburgh Council website here.
Haymarket Station offers direct connections from Scotland's 7 major cities however no bus services are currently available between Haymarket Station and Merchiston Campus. However Edinburgh Waverley does ofer direct services by using the: 5, 11, 15 and 16 Lothian Bus services.
